01 · Friday bars & cocktail bars
No two receptions are alike. I read the setting and the guests, and give the room a mood that supports the conversation: present enough to lift the atmosphere, never so loud that people have to shout.
As the evening goes on, the tempo can follow. Many Friday bars end as small parties, and a regular slot every month gives the office a tradition people look forward to.
02 · Company parties
Christmas parties, anniversaries and summer parties. Sound and wireless microphone are ready for speeches and awards during dinner, and when dinner is over and the party starts, the aim is to get the whole company on the dancefloor.
Different ages, departments and tastes in one room: that is where reading the crowd matters most.
A compact set-up for the Friday bar, or a full production with sound, programmed light, lasers and my DJ booth with mirror elements for the big party. Add live saxophone and percussion for a hybrid set.
